HOLY SHIT. We have another shot-in-the-dark that hit at a pivotal moment. While it wasn't as wild as Kaleb's in 45, this was JUST as monumental because we couldn't lose an icon like Mary so soon. I literally went to her website and bought merch immediately (and you should too) because I'm a MOTHER MARY MISSIONARY. Her next level mind-games with Sai should be studied because she laid a risky trap and Sai fell into it perfectly, only to be further into the trap with the SITD hitting.
There were other parts of the episode too lmao, like how Thomas is setting himself up as the gay villain which is going to be taken down soon. Which sucks because I like him and his banter, but also, I'm convinced HE took my spot on 48 because he has a better job title than I do. (fully a joke in case anyone reads this in the future)
ALSO, the journey resulting in a game of CHANCE on whether they have a vote or not??? WHYYYYYYY??? This will be my hot take that games of chance like rolling dice, especially when chosen by OTHER TRIBES, should have the option to not play, especially pre-merge.
I'M KINDA WORRIED ABOUT THE TRIBE SWAP. Like I really hope they split Sai and Mary up so that, while they agreed to work it out in the remix, Mary has an opportunity to build some alliances outside of Vul(v)a and secure herself further in the game. But all in all, I am happy that they're swapping tribes because like, this continuation of the disaster tribe during pre-merge is kinda dull and I look forward to a future where other castaways are at risk. I also worry about Joe and Eva being split up, given that her name has already been on the chopping block, and he's the only one she's confided in about her autism, I foresee a future where she gets ousted and he goes after the people that got her out.
